TIMELINE OF NADI MUSLIM COLLEGE.
A MILESTONE REACHED, AND A GOAL ACHIEVED. 1958 – 2024
1958
Establishment of the college as Nadi Muslim High School.
Initial setup: A 2-classroom block (Forms 3 & 4) with 50 students, next to the Nadi Mosque.
First Branch President: Haji Abdul Gani.
Key founding members: Haji Gulab Khan, Juber Khan, and others.
First Principal: James Masih
1960
Principal James Masih succeeded by Mr. A H Yusuf
1964
Leadership under principals Mr. K. S Reddy, Mr. Zaidi, Mr. Moidean, and Sheikh Imam
1968
Construction of a two-storey building catering to Forms 3 to 6 students
1980
Government donated 10 acres of land to the branch. School moved to its present location.
1984
Name changed to Nadi Muslim College.
Guidance under patrons Late Haji Aiyub, Late Brother Ishaq Ali, Br. Ahmed Khan, and Br. Rasul.
Leadership transitioned from Brother Sheikh Imam to Brother Razak Mohammed as principals

1997
Abdul Sattar appointed as principal.
Haji S.R Hussein as the manager

From a humble beginning of 2 rooms, NMC now has:
27 forms (Year 9 to 13).
Almost a thousand students.
60 staff members.
Well-equipped with resources.
Emphasis on multiculturalism and education for students from diverse backgrounds.
Successful propagation of Deeni Ilm alongside Secular education.
Proudly produced teachers, doctors, accountants, and individuals of high social calibre and status.
